Work to secure the foundations of Villa Linda began in early summer 2017. A neighbouring property purchased by the Harvard Center in 2016, Villa Linda is less than ten minutes away from I Tatti on foot and will be connected to the main center by a small footbridge. When complete, Villa Linda will be used for academic programs and seminars and also to provide additional short-term accommodation for visiting scholars, allowing us to increase the presence of scholars at the Harvard Center.
