Project Summary

This research project, which will lead to an exhibition at the Getty and the Frick, focuses on Andrea del Sarto's creative process. By looking at new infrared reflectography of panel underdrawing together with related drawings on paper, the project will illuminate Andrea del Sarto's inventiveness and workshop practice.
