Lin Jiao
Lin JIAO is currently a PhD candidate in Art History at the Central Academy of Fine Art of China. She focuses on the comparative study of patron images in Religious Arts. She investigates the questions of the differences in the concept of “self-image” between Eastern and Western art, in addition to how individual patron styles were adopted by people from varied social levels throughout different spaces, and how alterations in the details of patron images can be explained by specific contexts of demand.
焦琳目前在中国中央美术学院就读艺术史博士。她的研究集中在宗教语境下的赞助人形象比较研究。她的研究阐明中西对于“像”概念的差异及不同的表达,以及不同阶层对于赞助人像的接受及在不同语境下的调整。
