RICCARDI ANTICHITÀ

Ennio e Piero Riccardi Antichità Snc was founded in 1962 by brothers Ennio and Piero Riccardi in the Santa Chiara square at Assisi, Italy. The firm is one of the major art dealers in the city, specializing in applied arts, mostly furniture, but also ceramics, sculpture, and paintings. In 1973 the Riccardi brothers founded the Assisi Fine Arts Fair (Mostra Antiquariato di Assisi) and continued organizing it until 1988.

The collection includes 3 boxes with photographic prints depicting artworks sold by the Ennio and Piero Riccardi Antichità firm at Assisi. The bulk of the holdings show furniture, paintings, and sculpture. Some additional letters, expertises, and correspondence document the Riccardi brothers collaboration with art historians, and their activity as art dealers and organizers of the Assisi fine art fair.
