Now Available to Watch: “Lines Through Time”

The recording of Lines Through Time: György Kurtág in Dialogue with the Past, presented at I Tatti on September 22, 2026, is now available to watch online.

Created especially for I Tatti, the programme brought together baritone and I Tatti Artist in Residence Benjamin Appl and pianist James Baillieu for a musical exploration of the connections between György Kurtág, Schubert, Monteverdi, and composers represented in I Tatti’s historic music library.

The evening also featured an introduction by Martin Brody, followed by a conversation with Benjamin Appl, Martin Brody, and Andreas Mayer exploring Kurtág’s musical world and his relationship with the music of the past.
