Biography

Adam Jasieński is from Kraków, Poland. He is a fourth year graduate student in History of Art and Architecture at Harvard University, where he also completed his undergraduate studies. He is interested in how visual and literary culture intersect in the realms of religious painting, poetry, and theater, particularly in the early modern Hispanic world. As a Graduate Visiting Fellow he plans to read a broad selection of texts, focusing on early modern Italian and Spanish artistic theory, Latin American and Spanish poetry, as well as recent scholarship on these subjects.
